North Yorkshire IT specialists, Razorblue, have recently completed a major deal to help a popular hotel improve its business facilities.

Beverley Tickton Grange Hotel, in East Yorkshire, is a well-known country house restaurant and hotel and is developing its meetings, conferences and events business.

Razorblue, based in Catterick, worked closely with the hotel’s management to install the most efficient super-fast wifi system for the business. The project included the installation of 15 Ruckus Wireless access points and a super-fast fibre internet connection which ensures that the hotel now has 100% coverage in all of the rooms and across its facilities and grounds. 

Razorblue, based at Colburn Business Park with offices also in Newcastle, Leeds and York with plans to open on Teesside, specialises in consultancy, managed IT services, hosted solutions and connectivity for a wide range of SMEs, business parks and public sector organisations across the UK.

This latest contract win is a further boost for Razorblue who, over the summer, secured work in excess of £2 million with new clients including Furlong Flooring based in Dublin and FTSE100 listed company, Sports Direct. In the last year alone, Razorblue has seen contracts grow by around 40% and expects to increase in size by a further 50% in 2014.

As a result, Razorblue has recently recruited five new members of staff, now employing a team of 30, with plans to add another five before the end of the year.

In addition, the company has doubled its office space in Leeds, having moved out of the city centre to Airport West Business Parkin Yeadon, close to Leeds Bradford Airport.
