With 6 offices and 80+ staff we offer clients a genuine 24/7 support service through our own internal service desk, implementation team, software developers and cabling engineers.

The Role

To support the implementation team based in Manchester in providing excellent technical support and professional services to our client base.  You’ll be responsible for providing post-sale implementation support for IT, data, hosting and telecoms networks. This will include setup and configuration of IT equipment in Manchester and implementing new on-site and remote installation works and carrying out on-site break-fix works when required.

Your duties will include:

  • Maintain internal controls and procedures providing recommendations for improvements where applicable
  • Provide end user, post implementation training where required
  • Strive to achieve first time fix for on-site, break fix works
  • Record all work completed within the company’s project system and adhere to the company’s quality system and documented processes and procedures
  • Communicate clearly and professionally at all levels of technical knowledge and authority
  • Assist to plan, install, and close out new implementations in line with budget and to the customers satisfaction

All candidates must possess:

  • Experience within the IT industry
  • Proven experience in working to timescales
  • Experience with IP addressing and routing configuration and fault finding
  • Previous technical experience with; Windows 10, Office 365, Windows servers (including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP), Networking
  • Microsoft Certified Professional would be beneficial but not a requirement.
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory & Exchange
  • Familiarity with web technology
  • A basic understanding of IP networks & IT security
  • Familiarity with Microsoft systems, Windows Server, Office 365
  • Familiarity with Apple OS and mobile devices
  • Setup of computer hardware / operating systems
