Razorblue to acquire Tokoda Ltd..

Razorblue are pleased to announce that on the 3rd August 2009 we will acquire Tokoda Ltd, a Technology services company based in York.

Tokoda brings a raft of skills and experience and a clear vision of how we can tailor our combined services for our clients. Tokoda’s extensive consulting exposure in the SME market strengthens our offering and extends our support capabilities, whilst Razorblue's hosting services and extensive IP network offers a much wider range of services under one roof to Tokoda's existing client base. Both Razorblue and Tokoda are similar organisations in terms of ethos - our service levels are exceptional, and both businesses understand that technology is just as much about people as it is about processors.

So why is Razorblue acquiring Tokoda and perhaps more importantly why has Tokoda decided to join forces with Razorblue?

In the SME market the world of Technology is changing rapidly. Tokoda's approach has always been to offer solutions which were ‘best-fit’ for their clients, not solutions which were most profitable for Tokoda. Razorblue have already invested heavily in a UK-wide IP network and next generation hosted solutions, giving Tokoda the opportunity to fast-track a wider range of products and services to clients; ensuring that they can continue to be provided with the best solutions and the same level of customer service which they have come to expect.

From the 1st August Tokoda will trade as Razorblue, and all communications from then onwards will come from the Razorblue team. For the next few months you can continue to contact Tokoda on existing e-mail addresses and phone numbers, but over time we merge our comminication channels into one.

If you're an existing client of Tokoda, in the next few weeks you’ll be receiving login details to our client portal which allows you to manage your support cases, service contracts, and invoices online.
